This scholarship is awarded to a student as a graceful way to benefit the student and pay tribute to Dr. Shakira Lynn’s brother Eveccio Ballard and his legacy. Applicants must excel academically, exhibit exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need.

Notable Accomplishments of Scholarship Recipients: 
-Graduate of the Bachelor of Behavioral and Social Sciences program at North Carolina Central University
-Dean's List at Kennesaw State University in the Exercise Science and Sports Management program 
-Dean's List at Hampton University in the Bachelors of Political Science program with a concentration in Pre-Law
-Graduate with Honors from Clarke Central High School and acceptance to the Criminal Justice program at Columbus State University
-Attendance at Middle Georgia State University majoring in Information Technology/Cyber Security
